I just broke a corner off my back molar. I can not get into see a dentist until a week from now. What can I do until I see the dentist?
Answer: Until your dentist appointment you want to avoid chewing on that side of your mouth. If the tooth is giving you discomfort take some ibuprofen or try and use some orajel to numb the area. I would also see if the dentist can take you in sooner. You may want to call the dental office and let them know if they have any cancellations sooner you would like to come in.
