Question: I just had seven band and brackets put on in the back teeth and I have to have rubber bands on all the time except for when I am eating. I just got this done today and I am in a great deal of pain still. What can I do to relieve some of the soreness with having braces
Answer: Having some pain after getting dental braces is common. Any over the counter pain pills like Advil, Tylenol etc. should help ease any pain you are having

If you have children there is a good chance they may need to have braces. I been wanting dental braces now for many years and have been saving money in order to pay for them. I went to an orthodontic dental office for a free consult and to have an idea of cost.
I was told by the staffing that many dental insurance companies do not cover for adult braces and the few that do does not cover out very much. That I could get a payment plan from them and depending on my credit would depend on how much the down payment would be.
Would I be better off trying to get a payment plan though the dental office or looking for dental insurance to help with the cost of getting braces.
