Oral Health Care Study shows in Indian Reservation 90 Percent Suffer Tooth Decay. On the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota, forty percent of the children and nearly 60 percent of the adults suffer from moderate to urgent dental care needs. This is including oral infections and other problems that could be life-threatening, according to the study released at the 68th annual National Congress of American Indians conference being held in Portland.
