Online Dental Insurance, Save Money on Implants with a Dental Discount Plan

Jan. 29th 2016

Many dental insurance plans will not cover you to get dental implants.  Because of that having dental implants can  get to be very expensive.  In order to help reduce your dental cost on having implants you may want to start thinking about getting a dental discount plan.  As long as there is a dentist in the plans network that does implants,  you will be able to received a discount saving.

Dental implants are natural-looking replacements for missing teeth due to periodontal disease or an injury. Dental implants are so natural-looking and feeling, you may forget you lost a tooth. Dental implants look and feel like your own teeth. They are extremely naturalistic, and those who receive dental implants often do not notice a difference in the oral function after the surgery has healed.

Implants can replace removable bridges or dentures, or they can be used to stabilize and secure the denture, making it much more comfortable. Dental implants are very durable and will last many years. Implants offer stability because they fuse to your bone. Dental Implants replace individual teeth and partial bridges in the upper and lower jaws. Implants are very durable, will last many years, and require the same “maintenance” as real teeth, including brushing, flossing and regular dental check-ups.

Oct. 18th 2010

I would really like to get dental implants for four of my teeth. I do not want to get a partial or a bridge since I have both in the past and do not really like either.  Is there any dental insurance that I can get that will help me with the cost of dental implants?

What are Dental Implants, and who needs them

Aug. 31st 2010

If you loose a permanent tooth due to an accident, and the tooth is recovered quickly enough, you can sometimes have it reattached, but often too much time passes between the loss of the tooth and getting the person to a doctor or dentist. Often, the only choice for those who need to replace a tooth is a dental implant.

Dental implants are artificial tooth replacements used to counter tooth loss and attached to a replacement tooth or a bridge. They do not rest on the other teeth to support the replacement tooth, but rather are tooth into the gums. Dental implants are placed into locations where teeth have recently been extracted. Dental implants are stronger and more durable than their restorative counterparts (bridges and dentures).

Dental, Insurance Indemnity Plans

Jun. 4th 2010

I am up for open enrollment for my health and dental insurance with my job.  So I have to pick the plans I want.  I know what I am picking for the health but under the dental I have a choice between a HMO and an Indemnity dental plan.

Does anyone have experience with dental indemnity plans?  Off hand I and leaning towards the Indemnity plan because it says I can pick any dentist I want to.  With the HMO I have to choose a dentist in the network.    However the indemnity has a 1000 max limit were the HMO does not.

I am wondering how hard is it having to file dental claims?  I hear that filing claims can be a hassle because the insurance companies do not pay out like the plan says they will.  Is that true? Although I am not paying for the dental plan itself which one is worth getting?
