Online Dental Insurance, Is your teeth supposed to hurt after a dental cleaning?
I had my teeth cleaned yesterday and my central front teeth have been causing me pain when ever I bite down on something making it really hard for me to eat. Is this going to go away after a few days or should I get it checked out?
Answer: If you had just a basic cleaning your teeth can be a little sensitive for a while but they should not be hurting you 24 hours latter. However if you had a deep cleaning then it can be normal that your teeth are sore for a day or two afterwords. I suggest calling your dentist and confirming wheather or not he or she feels you should come back in to have your teeth re-checked.
