Online Dental Insurance – Three Cavities
My teen daughter has three dental cavities. I was just told this by her dentist. I am now looking for dental insurance that will give me good benefits on the fillings that need to be done. Hopefully a dental insurance plan that does not have waiting periods for fillings.
Reply: You have a couple of options with regards to fillings. First you can review HMO insurance plans as they typically do not have waiting periods. However, it may mean changing to a different dentist if your current one dose not accept HMO or are not a provider of any HMO plans.
There are PPO’s plans that do not have waiting periods as well. They do tend to be more costly because of that though. You will also need to read the plans carefully to confirm if the one you are reviewing has waiting periods or not.
