Seeing a dentist without Dental Insurance – Online Dental Insurance
Question: Can a person see a dentist for dental services if they do not currently have any dental insurance or dental benefits though their job. I have a friend and he been putting off his dental care and is suffering from an infected or abscess tooth and he is in a great deal of pain.
Reply: It is not a requirement to have dental insurance to see a dentist. It only mean that he would need to pay for dental service to the dentist at whatever their cost is. Having dental insurance helps to pay for your dental care or reduces the cost you pay for dental care.
For your friend he may be better off if he is low income to find a low cost dental insurance plan like an HMO or by getting a dental discount plan since both will help him save money on his dental care needs.
