What is a Annual Maximum Limitation with regards to dental insurance?
The annual maximum limitation is the total dollar amount that the insurance plan will pay for dental care on an individual member for a specified benefit period, typically a calendar year. If you have a family plan the max limitation is applied separately per person therefore each person would have the same max limitation. You will typically see this type of limitation in your PPO’s or Indemnity insurance plans.
