Online Dental Insurance – Tooth sensitively after having a filling.
Saturday, Sep. 9th 2023 1:45 PM
For some people, their teeth can become sensitive for days to weeks after having a filling. Sensitively can happen for many reasons, but the common reason is when you have a filling part of the tooth, and all the dental decay must be removed. In some cases, this procedure can cause sensitivity in the tooth. As a general rule, the deeper the cavity and closer to the tooth nerve, the more likely there will be discomfort after the dental procedure. If the pain lasts for over a week, it is advised to return to the dentist to re-evaluate the tooth.
