Dental Insurance help needed for gray teeth.

I do not have any dental insurance right now. I did in the past but that was a long time ago. Since then I have not been to the dentist. Because of that I do brush my teeth after every meal.
Lately my teeth have been looking grayish long the bottom of the tooth near the gum line. I do not smoke so they are nto staines and I a worry as to why my teeth are graying. Without dental insurance plan I can not afford to see a dentist. What can I do?
