Best dental insurance, Self employed in Louisiana

I am self employed and live in Louisiana. I am looking for dental insurance for the last three days and can only seem to find dental plan. I not sure these so called dental plans seem a little sketchy to me. Can’t I buy a individual dental insurance plan for myself in Louisiana?
