Maryland dental insurance and their claims process
Though my employer I receive very good dental insurance benefits. However when I go to the dentist the dental office bills me almost as much as my dental insurance company is paying for the claims sent in to them.
I am starting to feel like the dental office is billing me in full for my dental services and then sending the claim of to my insurance company to be paid. So that they are getting paid twice once from me and then again from my dental insurance. I never get any type of refund back from the dental office either.
I have talk to a few people about this and some people tell me that the dental office I am going to seems to be dishonest. Where other people say this is very typical and that dental work is very expensive. How would I know if the dental office is ripping me off or not. Should I just go to a different dental office?
