Dental Care, Dental braces in Idaho

Dental Care, Dental braces in Idaho. I worried my teeth are not normal or that I am doing somethng wrong. I have current braces on for the past few months and I do brush with my electric toothbrush every night. I also do my best to remember to floss every night too but I will forget once in a while.
I think over all I am doing what I need to do but when I go to see my Orthodonic dentist he tell me my gums are puffy and I need to brush and floss better. But I do brush and floss so what am I doing wrong?
